Grammy Award Winning Drummer Gregg Bissonette Releases New Solo Album, Warning Will Robinson

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA (November 26, 2013) – Grammy Award-winning drummer Gregg Bissonette has released Warning Will Robinson today, his first solo album in more than a decade.

Warning Will Robinson is Bissonette’s third solo release and his first pop vocal album. The album is a dynamic modern fusion of rock, pop, electronica, dubstep, funk, bebop, and jazz, along with Bissonette’s signature epic drum solos, heavy-hitting guitars from guest musicians, and a lost-in-space futuristic vibe.

The album was written and produced by brother Matt Bissonette (Elton John, Rick Springfield, Ringo Starr), featured on bass and backing vocals, and it also features a large cast of special guests, including Doug Bossi, George Bernhardt, Ron Cohen, Ellis Hall, Danny Jacob, Wally Minko, and Dan Strain. The album includes a second disc with play-along drum-stripped tracks.

Warning Will Robinson is the first independent release from Bissonette, who has become recognized as a role model for independent musicians, in partnership with CD Baby. Bissonette has launched his online drum school with DrumChannel.com, the Gregg Bissonette Drum School. With a strong influence as an educator, both online and at his drum camps, he also is able to provide students insights as a touring and session musician, providing tools, tips, and advice for indie artists, from beginners to pros. He also designed and released his new tambourine pedal with Drum Workshop.
